Chiropractic studio

For spines that have been carrying too much.

Third Vessel is a small practice built around one idea: you should leave a session understanding your own back. Gentle, deliberate adjustment. No packages, no pressure, no rushing you off the table.

The method

Three things we do differently.

Most backs don't need heroics. They need someone patient enough to find the actual restriction and honest enough to say when it isn't a chiropractic problem.

  1. 01

    Assess before we touch

Every first session starts with movement screening and a conversation about how your days are actually shaped — the desk, the kit bag, the sleeping side.

  2. 02

Adjust the smallest amount that works

We choose the lightest technique that achieves the change, and we tell you beforehand exactly what it will feel like.

  3. 03

Send you home with something to do

Two or three movements, not twenty. Care that only works while you're on the table isn't care — it's a subscription.

Care

What people come in for.

If you recognise yourself in one of these, you're in the right place. If you don't, say so in your enquiry and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

Spinal adjustment

Hands-on care for restricted neck, mid-back and lower-back joints that have stopped moving the way they should.

Desk and posture strain

The slow ache between the shoulder blades, the stiff neck by Thursday, the wrists that complain on long weeks.

Sports recovery

Training niggles, return-to-running plans and the kind of tightness that shows up two days after the session, not during it.

Low-force technique

Instrument-assisted and drop-table work for nervous first-timers, older patients and anyone who dislikes the cracking sound.

Prenatal and postnatal

Side-lying and supported positioning for pelvic and lower-back discomfort through pregnancy and the months after.

Mobility rehab

A short, progressive set of movements to rebuild range after an injury, a long layoff or a stubborn flare-up.

Your first visit

Nothing happens that you haven't agreed to.

Roughly fifty minutes, wearing whatever you can move comfortably in. Here's the shape of it.

Step one

The conversation

What brought you in, how long it's been going on, what makes it worse. We ask about sleep, work and training because that's usually where the answer lives.

Step two

The assessment

Simple movement and joint testing, narrated as we go. If we think you need imaging or a different practitioner, we'll say so before anything else happens.

Step three

The treatment

Adjustment or mobilisation matched to what we found, then two or three movements to take home and a clear note on when to come back — if at all.

Who you'll see

Dr. Imogen Hale

Imogen founded Third Vessel after a decade of shared-clinic practice, mostly to get away from fifteen-minute appointments. She works alone by choice: the person who assesses you is the person who treats you, every time.

"The best outcome I can give someone is that they stop needing me. That's the whole job."

Questions

The ones we're asked most.

Does an adjustment hurt?
Most people describe it as pressure followed by relief rather than pain. You'll know what's coming before it happens, and you can stop a session at any point without explaining yourself. If you'd rather avoid the classic technique entirely, we have low-force alternatives that work well.
How many sessions will I need?
We won't sell you a block up front. After the first visit you'll get an honest estimate, and we revisit it as you improve. Plenty of people come twice and then only return when something changes.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move and stretch in — gym kit is ideal, but ordinary soft clothes are fine. You won't be asked to change into a gown.
Do I need a referral first?
No — you can request a session directly. If you're already working with another practitioner, mention it in your enquiry so we can keep the two plans pointing in the same direction.

Request a session

Tell us what's going on.

Send the short form and we'll reply with a session window that fits, plus a straight answer on whether chiropractic care is the right starting point for you.

  • New patients are given a full first-visit slot, never a short one.
  • Morning and late-afternoon sessions run Monday through Friday.
  • If we're not the right fit, we'll say so in the reply.

We only use these details to answer your enquiry.
